Forming a Political Party: You are the founder of a new Canadian political party during the Great Depression. Create a 5-10 point party platform aimed at relieving some of the negative effects of the Depression, and turning the economy around to end the Depression. Review what you have learned so far about the Depression and how it was eventually ended. Look at what the party that was in power did, as well as any other political ideas you can find.

Write your platform in the form of a brochure, manifesto, or speech for a radio campaign. Remember, the idea is to get your party elected! 

Your project should:

1. Give the name of your party

2. Be written in brochure, manifesto, or speech format

3. Clearly outline your 5-10 ideas for relieving the suffering and ending the Depression. Ideas should be based on what you have learned about the causes of the Depression, the effects of the Depression, and the responses of the political parties of the time 

5. Be well written and edited with very few errors

6. Include any references used
