Write a construction contract between an Owner and a contractor for the construction of a two car garage complete, with electrical and stub outs for water. The contract must contain the essential clauses of a contract (and Red Flag provisions) that you would like to see in a contract that is for your benefit and your protection. Additionally as this is a residential project there are certain clauses that must be included. Refer to the “What A Contractor Should Include in a Residential Construction Contract/Binding Agreement” posted for this class. Also, include the essential elements of a contract.

Note: The contract must be typed. A drawing even if it is a simple plot plan is
essential to this exercise.

Hint: Incorporate by reference any documents that you attach including but not limited to the plot plan, a list of materials etc…. The contract does not have to contain a lot of “legalese” to be valid and enforceable, but it needs to be in your own words in the correct order
