For this assignment, you will identify one peer-reviewed scholarly article and write a summary of the article. The article you identify must describe an empirical research study (quantitative or qualitative). That is, literature reviews, meta-analyses, and practitioner-oriented journal articles should not be selected and summarized for this assignment. You should select an article that is relevant to your specific teaching field. Your article summary should be 1 – 1.5 pages max Teaching field is Career Technical Agriculture Education (Cosmetology Teacher in high school)

Your article summary should include the following information:

1. An introduction paragraph that provides background on the topic of the article
2. A description of how you identified the article. Include this information: what search terms did you use? what parameters/limitations did you use in your search (e.g., peer-reviewed, full text only, published in the last ten years, written in English)? Describe the process for how you identified the article so clearly that I could follow your directions and locate the article myself
3. A brief summary of the article. Who were the participants? What data were collected? What were the significant findings of the study? What big takeaways can be made from the study (i.e., did it answer any questions or provide implications for teaching?)?
4. A brief statement on how you can integrate the results of this study into your daily practice.
