Question:

The last five weeks of the course have focused on the relationship between society and technology, both how society shapes technological choices and how choices about technology shape society (usually called “social impacts of technology”). 

Discuss one or more examples for each side the society-technology relationship. Is this relationship symmetrical, that is, does it function the same way in each direction?
