A paragraph is a group of related sentences that develops one main idea that is found in the topic sentence.

Although the length of a paragraph can vary, for purposes of this course your paragraph should be between 10 and 12 sentences long.

Consider ways in which you can appeal to the senses, which can make a
subject come to life for a reader who can identify with the details you
give.
