Science Homework Help. Cypress College Physics Velocity & Acceleration Question

Help me study for my Physics class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.

What can you say about the rate of change of the velocity as a function of time while your cart was rolling freely? In other words, is it constant or changing and how exactly can you tell? In your answer, use the formal name which is given to “rate of change of the velocity with time.” What does its sign mean?

The vertical intercept of the line you fit to the v(t) graph represents what the velocity would have been at time t = 0 had the cart been released at the exact moment you began collecting data. This quantity is known as v0. Write the general algebraic equation relating the velocity and time for an object moving with constant acceleration.
