assignment is to use your Westlaw account and databases to find and analyze two legal cases addressing the specific question of the legality of the scope of a search by a police officer during an investigatory stop and frisk scenario. Please find one case where the Court rules for the defendant finding the police’s actions to be unconstitutional and one where the Court rules in favor of the police, finding their actions to be constitutional. The cases must be United States Supreme Court cases or United States Court of Appeals cases.
To find your cases, search the Westlaw database in accordance with our library guide tutorial/instructions on our Moodle page.
BE SURE when searching to limit your search to only the US Supreme Court or/and US Court of Appeals Databases on Westlaw.
Be sure to include proper case citations for your two cases (and/or a copy of the case or link to the case) for each of your two cases so I can look them up for reference when reviewing your assignment.
Once the cases are located please summarize and analyze each case as follows:

What happened in the lower court?
