The main origin of the disease is believed to be in China where the virus spread in the animal market and was transferred to humans. However, the exact source of contagion is still unknown. The virus can cause mild to severe symptoms, and even death in some cases. The severity of the virus is influenced by the person’s age and general state of health. The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued its own international public health emergency where people are advised to be extra careful and keep a social distance of at least 6 feet, as well as avoiding unnecessary traveling (Shehposh, 2020). This study has great significance with respect to our research as it discusses the symptoms, treatment and preventions regarding the Covid-19 in detail.

Studies have shown that the Covid-19 had its own impact on university students as they were worried about how long the pandemic will last and when a vaccine will be available. The virus has also affected the studies of students, as their attention is diverted to their own health and that of their family, making it difficult to concentrate on their studies completely. The regression analysis showed that people who were more exposed to media news had more concerns regarding the virus (Schiff et al, 2020).

Frameworks are needed to be developed along with action plans. Students may also need financial help in such crises. Communication in organizations has to be very strong and a single voice should be enough to deliver the message. The management should also note if anyone is spreading false news and creating an environment of tension and confusion (Coyne, et al, 2020). This study has great significance as it has proposed a future plan regarding the COVID-19 and also discusses the lessons learned from the first attack of the virus. This study also targets universities for future pandemic responses therefore, it is directly linked with our research and research questions.
