During his presidency, Donald Trump banned transgendered persons from serving in the U.S. Armed Forces “in any capacity.” The decision reversed a policy initially approved by the Defense Department under President Barack Obama that allowed transgender individuals to openly serve in the military. Joe Biden has stated he will undo Trump’s actions and return to the Obama-era rule. Do you agree with Trump’s action? Do you agree with the Obama/Biden stance? Why or why not?
