Read through the short article and undergo your own slow looking exercise with a print, painting, or sculpture (choose just one object) from the time period covered by our course (Paleolithic-the Fourteenth Century). Make sure your selection has a reasonably high resolution. Following Professor Roberts’ lead, sit quietly with the work for at least 40 minutes (without a phone) and write about your own experience. Please write at least 2 pages (no more than 4), double-spaced, and with one-inch margins.
