Discuss how the idea of interventional informatics challenges or extends what someone might consider traditional healthcare today. Is this a truly transformational construct, or are we simply extending care into a future that anticipates a greater role for IS and MIS technologies. In a similar vein, comment on whether you see interventional informatics as an IS approach, an MIS approach, or aspects of both.
