The purpose is to understand and sympathetically evaluate some central claims and arguments of one or more medieval thinkers on a longstanding philosophical problem. Essay Request:

Anselm claims that although God has given Satan everything he has still Satan is responsible for his abandonment of justice and his inability to regain it. Present and evaluate his argument. Include an account of 1) why it is important that Satan have two ‘wills’, 2) whether he retains both after his Fall 3) why he cannot of his own will regain justice and 4) why the angels who did not fall need not now fear that they will fall.

Additional Information

The paper should be around 2000 words, written in APA format and should include references and in text citations too. Most part of the task should be written in reference to the pdfs attached (the textbook and the professor lectures) but additional external sources can be used too. Even so, I think it will be impossible to write the research paper without reading those fall as the answers for most of it is in those files.
