Aim 2: (To investigate whether eosinophils stimulate Cytotoxic T cell activation and expansion due to increased MHCI expression and displaying viral Ags.)

1.Can eosinophils stimulate cytotoxic T cell expansion and activation? Cytotoxic T cells were purified from mouse lungs infected with Influenza virus and spleens cultured together with BMdEos combined with viral peptides or mock-pulsed to test if cytotoxic T cell responses reactivation was triggered by the presence of the virus.

2.What is the effect of displaying viral antigens on CD8+ T cell activation and expansion? Cytotoxic T cells were refined from mouse lungs infected with Influenza virus and spleens cultured together with Bone marrow–derived eosinophils (BMdEos) conjugated with viral peptides or mock-pulsed to test if virus-triggered (BMdEos) reactivated cytotoxic T cell reaction.
