Prior to beginning work on this interactive assignment, read Chapter 3: Agile Software Development and Chapter 4: Requirements Engineering in the course text. In this week’s interactive assignment, you will add to your concept map that you started in Week 1 and further illustrate and make connections among the concepts of software development and requirements engineering. This week’s section of the concept map is focused on software development and requirements engineering. In your concept map, illustrate different software development methods, and explain the processes used for real-life software development and software requirements engineering. Be sure to label each component, and describe the function of each.

In addition to your concept map, you will write a paper in which you will

• Explain agile development techniques, including the Extreme Programming (XP) process and user stories.

  • Explain the differences between functional and non-functional requirements.
• List the main activities for requirements elicitation, analysis, and validation.
  • Discuss the relationship among these activities.
