This discussion forum is about understanding and developing your own cultural perspective.  First, identify elements of your own cultural background that impact your cultural perspective.  For example, where/how were you raised, where were you educated, what’s your ethnic background, what are your parents’ cultural influences, etc.  If you consider Hofestede’s dimensions for the countries where you were born or where you live, do they apply to you?
