reading summary using the following prompts to guide you:
1. Write a brief summary of the key points of each reading and summarize the main argument of
the author in your own words. If you had to tell a friend what both of the readings were about,

2. Write your response to both of the readings. What stood out to you as you read? What are
some of the things you highlighted? Feel free to include direct quotations that you found
