This week you must develop a sponsorship proposal in Word. In real life, you are more likely to develop a PowerPoint presentation. But for this assignment, I would like you to develop a full proposal in Word, so that you can spell out all the details you would like to discuss in the proposal. As mentioned previously, a poor proposal simply lists many rights components and says little about what benefits it offers and why those benefits are relevant and important to the company. Your proposal must demonstrate your knowledge of the chosen prospective sponsor (a for-profit organization only). The rights components and the benefits discussed must be in line with the company’s mission, current strategies, target markets, and business situations. The proposal must communicate the compelling reasons why the sponsor must not miss out the unique opportunity presented. Make sure to align the property’s assets/sponsorship rights with the sponsor’s goals and benefits. I recommend you choose a company that is not a current (actual) sponsor of your chosen sport property.

Refer to readings BELOW #2 (proposal guideline/instructions) and #3 & #4 (sample proposals) for more information. A minimum number of pages? No. You just need to make sure you follow the instructions closely.

Try to add some visual elements if possible (e.g., pictures, table, diagrams) to add excitement to, improve clarity of, and increase persuasive power of your proposal.
