Assignment description: Students will visit an organization and interview 3 people regarding the subject of changes that have been experienced by these people in this organization.

Interview questions are to be created by the student based on the information learned in the chapter titled Helping People through Change and Burnout Prevention.

There must be a minimum of 7 different questions asked during the interview and the same questions are to be asked of each person.

After the interviews are completed, students will write at least a 5 page paper about this experience. One page of the 5 will consist of the questions that were used.

3 pages are to deal with the responses from the 3 people who were interviewed. The 5th page is to be a reflection about how the topic of change is viewed by employees of the organization and what you, the student, learned about organizational changes.

Purpose: The purpose of written assignments is to provide the student with an opportunity to demonstrate integration of the information and critical thought processes as it applies to the material presented in the course.

Much of the writing and discussions that are done in this course are expository in nature. That means your written assignments and discussion questions will be explaining a process, object, or idea. Keep this in mind as you craft your written work. The more focused and clearly written your responses are, the better they will be.

It is suggested that whenever practical, written work follow the standard five-paragraph essay format. Follow APA 6th Edition formatting for all papers. A template is available for you to use and is located with the syllabus under the Start Here tab in the Blackboard course shell.

Expectations: Read the instructions carefully and follow them !

2.The papers address the following areas:

a.Was the actual assignment topic addressed? (Please ensure that you read and understand the assignment)

b.Was the topic covered in sufficient detail and depth? (Superficial or minimal information suggests rushed efforts, and fails to demonstrate integration of information).

c.Was there evidence of reading and subject materials in the product? (Verification of student preparation for the assignment.)

3.The student was able to demonstrate the ability to apply material or concepts in the manner instructed by the assignment.

4.Points will be deducted if the above requirements are not met.
