You may use any text and try to “do” cultural media studies on a particular social or cultural issue presented by/in the media. Any form of applied research is suitable for the second option. Various applications/methodologies will be introduced throughout the class.

They should also include texts from the class (outside academic resources are always welcomed). Citation is required; you may use any format (if you need help with this I can provide guidance) in which you are trained. More of this will be covered throughout our time together.
