This discussion will focus on how we taste our favorite foods. For this discussion, complete the following for full-credit:

1) Diagram the pathway of the food molecules from your favorite food starting from consumption through the recognition of taste in your brain.

2) Make sure that you include the lingual papillae involved, the taste bud, the taste pore and the signal movement to the brain.

3) Take a picture of your diagram and post this to the discussion thread.

4) Beneath your diagram, post clues to what your favorite food is, but don’t give us the answer.

5) Try to guess what your classmate’s favorite foods are by replying to their posts.
