You are a studying the progression of cells through the cell cycle, and the interaction of the cell cycle and apoptosis. You have identified a protein, Rb , that is a substrate for both a cyclin/CDK and a caspase. You isolate all of the proteins involved and run an assay where you add various proteins into the mix, and then use a western blot to visualize Rb. The results of this assay are shown here. The only proteins in the mix are the ones listed here. Rb and CDK4 were added in all cases, for all other proteins a plus means you included that protein in the mix, a minus means you did not.
