The end of chapter 8 discussed LifeStraws as a way of providing clean drinking water in underdeveloped areas. They were distributed through charitable organizations.

Find and research one charitable organization (not Carter Center) that seeks to provide safe drinking water to areas in which it is not readily available. Summarize your findings. Be sure to include the following information:

• name of organization
• where the organization is based
• method/plan for providing safe drinking water (Really explain process here. This should be the main component of post.)
• areas of the world served by the organization
• link to organizations website

You will not be able to see other students’ posts until you complete your initial post.

After completing your initial post, respond to one post that covered a different organization’s work. In your response compare and contrast the organization they researched with the organization you researched. Include advantages and disadvantages of both organization’s approach to providing safe drinking water.
