As you work on this, here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Incorporation of course materials is a must. For example, as you are describing and analyzing the leadership of your selected organization, think about how it relates or contrasts with the course materials we’ve covered.
2. You must include citation to outside peer-reviewed sources. You can use Google Scholar or the UM Library OneSearch. A question I often get asked is “how many sources do I need?” At a minimum (i.e., the minimum needed to pass, not to get an ‘A’) you should have at least 1-2 sources per page of text. If your paper is 10 pages, that means you need to be citing at least 10-20 source total (including citation to course materials and outside sources). There should be very few (if any) paragraphs in your paper that do not include citation.
3. Organization is important. Use clear headings and subheadings for the different sections of your paper. Make sure that the information in your paper is presented in a structured and logical way
