Drugs are part of every segment of society – We are seeing marijuana become decriminalized in many states. Pharmaceutical companies provide us with great “miracle workers” in medical science, but also add to the corruption of corporate and government entities due to the billions it generates. Provide a personal note on what could alleviate, if any, our dependency as humans on drugs. Are we moving in a better direction than say a decade ago?

As a note – 93,000 people overdosed and died from opioid type drugs in America 2020-21. This is up from 70,000 the previous years.
