Select a passage “Legends of the Seoul Dogs” or “The Yellow Wallpaper,” and choose a word to define using the OED. Use your definition to reexamine the passage; not just what is literally happening, but some potential implications of the word choice, as well as the passage’s place in the larger narrative.
