of your auto maintenance. Do you change the oil and check your tire
pressure (primary prevention)? If something doesn’t seem right, do you
take it to the auto repair shop (secondary prevention)? Or do you wait
until something breaks before taking it to the shop (tertiary
prevention)? At which level is an auto accident? What does insurance
cover? Which is most expensive? Which requires the most technical
skills?

In one or two paragraphs, compare auto maintenance and insurance to
health care maintenance and insurance. Which is better? Should health
care insurance become more like auto insurance or auto insurance more
like health care insurance? Or should they remain as they are? Also
explain why you think insurance isn’t part of the chronic care model,
when it is such an integral component of health care.
