For this assignment, please provide a narrative of your program evaluation.

Process evaluation, also called implementation evaluation, shows whether a program has been implemented as intended, why or why not? Process evaluation focuses on the program inputs and outputs (activities and participation).

Taking the intervention that you have planned (from NUTR 620), use this exercise to define your program’s process evaluation.

The process evaluation plan should articulate how the process evaluation findings will be used to make program improvements/refinements.

The process evaluation plan should address how each of the following components of your program’s process evaluation will be assessed:

Program activities and reach:

o What are the program activities? Who will deliver the program activities? How often will they be delivered?

o What is the program’s reach? What are participation levels? Are you reaching the program’s intended audience? What percentage of your intended are you reaching?

Program implementation and fidelity: the extent to which the program has been implemented as planned (expertise, activities, frequency, resources, etc).

Stakeholder satisfaction: the extent to which various stakeholders are satisfied.

Program management (budget and stakeholder communication): the extent to which the program is sating within budget and the extent to which the program’s communication plan is adhered to.

Clearly describe assessment methods/tools (include copies of tools), who will be involved in the assessment, when the assessment will take place, frequency of assessment of each component. You may use a combination of data collection instruments, for example, management of information systems, coding of written or audiovisual documents, record reviews, or other methods either alone or a combination.
