This week, I’d like you to explore some online resources about Galileo’s life and his discoveries. I’ve suggested some websites below, but you may be able to find other resources as well. 

Remember, every blog post should include two elements:

• something you’ve found and want to share with your fellow students (a quote, an image, a video, a website)
• an explanation, in your own words about what you found and why it is interesting, how it helps us understand the course materials better, or how it relates to issues and ideas in today’s world.
• this explanation should include a specific reference to one of the required readings from this week–either a handout, or a Galileo text–include a quote or idea, indicating where it came from

Your own writing should be at least 350 words long.
