and water, and flowing at a rate of 10,000 kmol/hr, is cooled to 120o
C (assume Raoult’s Law), to
separate the H2SO4 from the water, at 1 atm. The vapor leaving the condenser has a mole fraction of
water that is 0.11 higher than the mole fraction of water in the liquid. What are the flow rates and
compositions of the two streams exiting the condenser?
