Summary:

There are two parts: 1 is data base creation and 2 one is IP 7 and 8 which are the part of this project. I will need your help for next three weeks, if I need to make any modifications so wondering is it possible to work that way. Since IP 7 and 8 are part of this project but I want the work done separately as per the requirement that I have listed below under IP 7 and 8. You will get to know if you go through it.

Project:

I need to create one database, this database will store the information about their clients that is their investors. There should be minimum 6 tables, including customer information, tables names are Banking and Finance, Healthcare, Mutual Funds, Hydropowers, Micro finances and Telecommunications. and it should be of 3NF. This database is for financial institution where they will use this database to help their investors in diversifying their portfolio.

If possible add 1 algorithm about risk bearing capacity of investors in the scale of 1 to 5. 1 being not at all 5 being too risky.

After creation of database, following question should be answered:

What will your database store? (baseball data, cooking data, etc)

What tables do you think you might include in your design?

How would you use your database after it is finished?

Customer information table should look like this, on the blank part you can fill dummy data.

For remaining 5 tables, columns names will be the same and it should look like:

IP 7

In your last IP, you developed the logical database design for your final project. This week you will build upon this by creating your physical database design. Please review the following link for guided steps on what is needed:

You will deliver the following:

• Data definition table including Table name, Column name, Datatype, Notes
• A single SQL script that will create your database and all necessary tables (I should be able to run the single script and get your entire database)
• Submit a word document containing your table as well as a brief description of your plans for the database. Include a .sql attachment for the script.

IP 8

This week you will fill your database with dummy data. Dummy data is used to test functionality and prove architectural choices. Using a service like Mockaroo is a great way to generate dummy data, but you may use a different method if you wish.

Using Mockaroo, you fill out the names of your columns as well as the type. Note that in this case, the type refers to what data is actually in the column Mockaroo is prepopulated with many different types of data, so you should be able to find something that fits your tables. If not, use something close. We will cover this in our meeting Wednesday night.

Use SSMS to ingest the csv from Mockaroo (or other) into your tables. The following guide shows how to do this:

Submit proof that your data is loaded into your tables via screenshots, and submit a word document with 3-5 paragraphs discussing what types of queries you could run on your database. Think about what your database is meant to be used for, and describe at least 5 different queries you could run. You do not have to write the SQL, just describe what would be returned.
