Team Presentation Guidelines

The following guidelines may help in your analysis, but don’t use these suggestions as a rigid formula. Each question is intended to bring out information that may be helpful in analyzing and presenting the concept.

• What is the leadership concept, why is it important, and how does it fit into OB history and theory?
• How does the issue relate to the contemporary workplace?
• Can you provide organizations that are good or bad examples of the concept?
• What are sub-issues or related issues that merit consideration and discussion?
• Why did your team select the issue and why is it important to you?

The following guidelines should be used in your team presentation:

• You must use either Microsoft Power Point or Google Slides-no other format is acceptable Upload your team presentation to Canvas
• The first slide must include the title of the topic, and names and pictures of all team members.
• Presentations should contain no less than 10 slides and no more than 18 slides, and last no more than 25 minutes.
• Slide number does not include the introduction slide and bibliography
• Include a bibliography as part of and at the end of your PP slides of 20 sources you consulted, and at least 10 of the sources must come from journals or articles accessed electronically through the SDSU Love Library or another library
• Your presentation should be interesting, informative, relevant and in good taste
• Creativity and good communications skills are vital to your success
• Please review the rubric on Canvas that I will use in grading your presentation and use it as a guide as you prepare your presentation.
• Make sure you cover all the sections in the rubric
• If you wish to give your instructor permission to use your PP slides or paper as a sample for future classes, please attach a letter or email from all the team members granting this permission
• All team members must share equally in work on the presentation, but all team members don’t need to speak during the presentation
