There are many different controls of temperature on Planet Earth.  In chapter 4, proximity to oceans or ocean currents, latitude, elevation, and heat island effect are described. there are other examples you could find as well.   Pick one control of temperature make a claim or statement about how the “Control” controls the temperature at Earth’s surface.  Then find some actual weather data to support your claim.
