Since these people have acquired such skills even without formal education, the society does not see cooks and waiters to be as intelligent as the owner of the company. Furthermore, employees who rely on their employers for their jobs do not gain as much financial freedom as their company owners. At the same time, team leaders, supervisors, and managers are oftentimes the only ones who earn more than mechanics, waiters and the like.
