prepare healthy meals for their families. When First Lady Obama was in office she began to increase the awareness of reducing childhood obesity by encouraging families to plant a garden for fresh fruits and vegetables (Let’s Move, 2016). This is so important because parents, teachers, students, and health professionals have an obligation to reduce childhood obesity in hopes of decreasing the risk of developing chronic illnesses.
