Hey! so I have this one question I’m stumped with. This is grade 9 physics by the way.

I’m making a diagram of a circuit. Here were the instruction I was assigned:

You need to design a home that meets the following specifications. Your house must be wired with ONE circuit that meets the following criteria:

● One room will have one light and the second room will have two lights

  •  1 switch that turns on and off the light in the room with one light only

● 1 switch that turns on and off the lights in the room with two lights only

● All lights should be equal brightness when on

● A master switch that can control the power for the whole house. This means 1 switch that can turn on and off all lights in the house at once.

My current diagram is attached below

So, my biggest issue here is making all the light bulbs of equal brightness. When I aksed my teacher how this is possible, her response was: “Think about what you need to do to keep the brightness the same. How do you need to connect them series or parallel?”  I have no Idea what she means. I’ve already assumed the circuit woud be parallel because of the seperate rooms, but now I’m just confused?? Please help! thank you!
