Here is the Teacher Feedback:

Your group did a very good job and have a decent launching point for the Final Project. You were sure to cover all of the requirements while also providing a mostly accurate analysis. There’s no doubt that you put a lot of hard work and thought while evaluating your insights and recommendations.

Insights~ 20 Points Earned

All questions were addressed and offered sufficient insights and takeaways. However, a couple of your insights were vague, or not accurate. For example, the insight for the types of events the residents would like to see in the community is not accurate. Though Live Events are important, their frequency is mentions is second to last. The type of event with the highest mode are ‘Farmer’s/ Vendor’s Market. Similarly, while discussing the types of businesses, you include a lot of variables while not specifying which ones were most popular. For the presentation, you need to include more specific details with your analysis to better support their importance and accuracy.

Graphs & Explanations~ 17.5 Points Earned

Most graphs/charts were addressed and sufficiently supported the insight and recommendation for each question. The reason points were deducted is because of some uncertainty of which visualization to use. For example, with Question 3 for the changes in the neighborhood and using the ‘younger families, no, other’ variables. Try not to dismiss the ‘other category’ as there could include important verbiage that is used and is important to the residents. If you do choose to reduce the responses to a few variables, be sure to define how the responses qualify for that variable. For example, what types of responses fall under ‘other’?

Two-Variable Analysis~ 24 Points Earned

The two variables you selected were very appropriate, and the insight was accurately valuable. I really liked how you acknowledge that the use of space, and the physical environment need to be considered while making any improvements.

Recommendations~ 20 Points Earned

Most of the recommendations were very appropriate and offered sufficient solutions, however, there are a couple of criticisms. First, Recommendation #1 and #3 are too similar in terms of analyzing research from surveys. Next, you need to include more specific information that the city planners would be able to put into action. For example, where could they put outdoor dining with live entertainment? When putting together your recommendations, be sure to put some thought into the logistics- space, budgeting, etc.- that would make it more of a realistic possibility.

Grammar & Spelling~ 5 Point Earned

A couple spelling/grammatical mistakes were made. For example, in the Recommendation for the Two-Variable Analysis you say, ‘cannot be avoidable’ when it should be ‘cannot be avoided’. Similarly, in Recommendation #1 you use ‘together then delivery’ where you needed to use ‘together then deliver’.

**** My Questions Are 4, 5, and 6. Also need the Graphs done as well.*****
