Weekly assignments will be provided each week which will require the students to select a weekly event (could be TED talk event, local event, community event, online event, current event etc) which relates to the topic discussed in lecture that week.

Students are expected to view one external event a week and provide a reflection on the Weekly Assignment link in Canvas.

For Week 2 assignment our focus is on Health Theories. Please look up one or more events which speak of the Health Theories which we discussed in lecture this week.

-Please provide a write up on your chosen weekly event (TED talk event, local event, community event, current event etc).

-Please use the course rubric for Weekly Assignments when writing your reflection paper.

-Please use your chosen textbook as one of your references and also include other supporting references (APA format)

-Please use the rubric in our course syllabus as an outline

Focusing on the 5 models below:

1) Health Belief Model

2) Theory of Reasoned Action

3) Theory of Planned Behavior

4) Integrated Behavior Model

5) Transtheoretical Model

Using your textbooks, discuss your thoughts on the above 5 models.

If you use additional references above and beyond your course textbooks, provide referencing to support your thoughts.
